We at KombatNetwork would like to welcome our newest staff member, now known as ChiefGief who is an up and coming FGC member ready to venture to new horizons. We look forward to better organizing and utilizing KN with him in the future and creating more connections in various other parts of the FGC. We’ve had some successful years since establishing KN as the next phase of the UltimateMK/DarkTemplarz lineage which goes back to 2002. Harvesting, stockpiling, educating, sponsoring, supporting, organizing. To new endeavors.
I would also like to take this time starting with the new year to thank all the newer KN staff in the North East for their help at tournaments such as Mikemetroid, RayRiazy, Darth Arma, Frantastic, Kazi along with Swift Tom Hanks and Rapzilla for putting together some tournaments with us and keeping the competitive scene going with their unique and efficient round robin events. Big thanks to the Red Bank Rumble Crew, The Besteban, GBUrsine and Nick for their continued effort in 2012 and 2013 to bring some hype events from YesterCades of Red Bank, NJ. Also thank you to Ruthless from Revolution Gaming for putting together some tournaments with us as well, outside the majors we are apart of together. To anyone else who has found their niche in our little capsule of the FGC, I thank you and look ahead to more success in the future.
Of course as always, thank you to Summoning, 9.95, Pherleece, Tim Static, Storms, ZAQ, Battousai, DreemerNJ and others for the recent and long term efforts in helping this community grow, whether it’s directly, behind the scenes, or what have you.
Huge thanks to Ken from YesterCades for hosting dozens of events over the last couple years including at least half a dozen regional quality tournaments. To anyone who isn’t aware, it’s a pain in the ass to supply an active venue for FG tournaments while your regular business is going on. Looking forward to the expansions of YesterCades and bringing in more and better tournaments. Also huge thanks to Chain Ace from YesterCades who brings consistently hype and impressive Smash Tournaments to the area, helping max out attendance for our events.
Thanks you to Jaxel for helping us out and streaming our events through 8WayRun when our hands are tied. You deserve far more credit than you are given.
