Red Bank Rumbles = Win

KombatNetwork ran a small, yet complete, stream for the Red Bank Rumbles crew tonight, our first all Capcom (KapkombatNetwork as we call it) stream. KN is trying to branch out and show some versatility, since we do play virtually all fighting games in our local group and run these games at our tournaments. This was the perfect opportunity to produce a stream for a great new gaming group that will be based out of Red Bank, NJ. Be sure to check out the Red Bank Rumbles as they will be bi-weely tournaments from now on, and the whole stream concept is still up in the air for them. We were glad to break them in and wish them luck if they choose to stream on their own.

Many thanks to Sean Hengchua, Esteban Martinez, Nicholas Souksay and John “Kazi” Cosentino for welcoming us into their opening, and of course Ken Kalada and Gary Berish of YesterCades. We are huge fans.

Last but not least, congratulations to VSM Classy Sasquatch for not making a liar out of me (Shock) and taking the SFxT tournament, and also congratulations to Grover who won SSF4AE with a nasty text book Guile, and not to mention 2nd in SFxT.

Red Bank Rumbles today

Reaching out to the MK community via Street Fighter today. At YesterCades in Red Bank, NJ, KombaNetwork will be running the stream for Red Bank Rumbles, a bi-weekly casuals/tournament session that begins today, 5/18/2012. We have approximately 60 confirmed guests for this event through the facebook page, and we’re hoping to infuse MK into this as another training ground for NJ, and possibly PA players. YesterCades is where Revolition X was held in January. Street Fighter X Tekken and Super Street Fighter 4: AE will be played in tournament fashion tonight after casuals finish. Tune into the STREAM at 8PM! If you plan on attending this event, it is a $10 door fee for casuals all night, or $15 for casuals + arcade access, all of which are on freeplay. This is a great deal even if you just want to play classic arcade games all night from 6:30 to midnight. See you there players!
