Next Saturday, November 23rd, KN will be attending Quarterly Rapport 6 : Fighting Game Tournament & Fest providing PS4 setups. Tournaments feature Smash Ultimate, Melee, SamSho, DBFZ, Unist, SF3 3rd Strike, SFV and Skull Girls.
Check out the YouTube Playlist for the classic MK shakedown at #ECT2019 featuring MK1, MKII and UMK3. The Plus Team has done an amazing job sprucing up these games. Join us again at NEC20 November 30th and December 1st!
After ECT2019 we are giving it another go at NEC20 and running a dedicated Classic MK section of the event, streamed on twitch.tv/kombatnetwork for your enjoyment. We will have multiple setups available and hopefully some surprises. Side tournaments are possible, so let’s celebrate 20 years of NEC!
Super Deluxe weekend at #ECT2019. Thanks to Zack and Walter for giving us the opportunity to make this gathering happen, and put smiles on a lot of faces. Of course LI Joe and SweetJohnnyCage for starting this event 10 years ago. I’m glad to have been a part of the vast majority of them bringing the NRS content.
Saturday was fantastic, streaming #ClassicMK all day with Nit Summoning, Mikemetroid, JamessMK, CombebackKyle, Alex Smith, Steven Nesbitt, Plumber Mike, Volcanic Akuma and many more taking part in MK1, MKII, and UMK3.
Special guest thanks to Cujo Katy holding down commentary as Paul(ine?) Stanley, and Ryan Neal taking time out of his busy weekend to get a boatload of matches with everyone possible and that amazing Cyrax Vs Sektor set against me, we’ll have that and the rest of the weekend events posted up on youtube soon!
Sunday’s impromptu Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid tournament was a blast! This game looks really polished and vintage Marvel style fun. Thanks to Ryan Uchi for organizing this and running commentary. Great seeing NerdJosh and Son Dula repping in this game.
Congrats to SaGe winning a hard fought 10 – 1 (really 0) $300 money match in DBFZ and Sonic Fox for another MK11 victory!
Awesome as always chilling with PhillipKDZ, Art, Tony & Jose in the arcade room. Big things to come for classic MK at NEC20 with Eric Small, it’s time to go Arcade Authentic for this.
Quite a challenging weekend at TFC2019. Naughty venue antics at its best. This is the kind of stuff that would happen back in the day and KN would get blamed for it. There’s some sound issues here and there while we were trying to get the internet working, also it seems that the beginning of the MK11 Grand Finals was cut off.
As always, thanks to to BigEGaming for having us again.
Congrats to Coosco for taking the win in MK11, VickiViper for taking Unist, Know Kami for taking DBFZ and Painbot for taking Samurai Shodown. Great seeing the southern players I haven’t been around in a while.
