It was 10 years ago today, Shock and DreemerNJ opened the doors of UltimateMK.com in memory of friend, and MK FGC community pioneer The Prophet. UMK was a competitive and informational MK gaming site/forum with its roots going back to the online fighting game group DarkTemplarz.com in 2002. UMK would eventually branch out its purpose to become KombatNetwork after merging its users, posts and information with TestYourMight.com. UMK attracted competitive players and MK enthusiasts from various sites of the time to continue seating the early building blocks of the MK community at the time and helped evolve into how it exists in the FGC today.
