With the announcement from Digital Eclipse at Evo that MKT will be included in the MK Legacy Kollection, Shock takes a look at a hack for the PSX MKT iso made a while back that corrects the music playback speed for the MK3, something that has confused people for nearly 30 years. Also included in this stream, is the usage of ePSXe emulator settings that essentially “skip” the loading time, making for a more faithful representation of the game flow, however they appear to create some issues with the sound from time to time similar to old MAME timings. We at least know the loading times have been removed from this updated port, could we potentially see fixed music, even enhanced sound effects? Time will tell.
