Perfect Legend, the defending Mortal Kombat Champion from Evo 2011, will be joining the Kombat Network team for Evo 2012. The Kombat Network & Carl “Perfect Legend” White have come to a working agreement that could lead to a future sponsorship and PL will represent KN/EMP at Evo 2012. As of this afternoon, June 22, we are pleased to announce that KombatNetwork/UltraSpecCables has come to an agreement for a temporary, one time sponsorship to ensure the travel arrangements for EMP Perfect Legend at Evo 2012. He will represent KombatNetwork, along with his own Jersey, like his fellow team mates Crazy Dominican and DetroitBalln313. Should Carl choose to seek future sponsorship with KN down the road is entirely up to him, but for now, let it be known, another heavy hitter has been added to the KN team for Evo. REO is the 2012 CEO Champion of MORTAL KOMBAT!! REO was put in the Loser’s side by CD Jr, but came back to beat him in the Grand Finals, decisively, 3-0, 3-1. He used Kenshi & Kabal in the GF’s, and Kung Lao along the way as well. Big prizes as well as NRS had put $1,000 into the pot bonus for MK9 for the Top 8, with 1st place obviously claiming the biggest amount of winnings. Top 8 finished like this:
